Harvest Fest

Metropolitan Dream Center’s 20th Annual Harvest Fest is fast approaching. This event has always been a blessing to the many homeless and less fortunate families as we meet the needs with hot meals, coats, clothes, shoes, socks, underwear, toiletries, and more. Last year in 2022, MDC provided services to over 1300 indigent individuals/families.

Metropolitan Dream Center’s horizon has broadened to include Eswatini, Africa where poverty is “out of control.” Many children are without shoes, proper clothing and food. They are unable to attend school due to the lack of funds. We are excited to partner and make an impact on “poor communities” from afar as we continue striving to make a difference in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.

Podcast, spiritual insight for life provided for all those who are searching for life’s answers and purpose. Listeners are provided tools for spiritual growth and maturation; find answers to questions, like “Why am I here? What is my purpose for existing. The pod cast will point its listeners in the right direction to discover their divine purpose and plan.
This Just In provide Free Bible and monthly Devotionals.
This Just In Backpacks for the displaced and unfortunate communities
This Just In Thanksgiving Food Baskets Over 200 boxed meals provided to unemployed and underemployed families during the holiday season of Thanksgiving and Christmas.
This Just In Mid-Semester Adopt a School Initiative- providing monetary donations and school supplies to selected title one campuses.
Continuing Care Initiative - Care for residents of dependent living facilities. (Cards, Greetings, birthday, and holiday celebrations, twice monthly inspirational worship service.)
Annually, in November, the Homeless and displaced community will have a restaurant style hot meal, prepared on site. (November 12, 2022) The Homeless guest will be bused to the location and served by volunteers a sit-down Thanksgiving Dinner, and provided free haircuts, clothing, blankets and personal hygiene items, access to on site health screenings etc. This is a community event partnering with other non-profit organizations.

CARE BACKPACK INITIATIVE

This Just In...Annual Backpack Care to the homeless, especially those who are not in a shelter, but not limited to those who are without shelter. Our purpose aligns with This Just In's overall mission to love all people unconditionally. We are pouring into the community of people with the greatest needs.

This Just In Backpacks are designed to encourage, provide hope and a wealth of community resources to the homeless by meeting some very basic and practical needs. We are the good neighbor reaching out into the larger community to find those in need of some very basic supplies and in need of spiritual development or revitalization.

Join the This Just In Team and become Love In Action to those who may feel that they are the least, last and lost members of the community. Your gift to the TJI Backpacks will be designated solely for ministry to the homeless care packs. Click on the needs list.
